| So, yeah.... I am really alive here, I promise... I've just not had anything truly profound to say of late. anyway.... I think that's really all for now... yeah, I know, boring, but such is life.

| So apparently I'm really allergic to black pepper. Which is okay, since I hate the stuff anyway, but it's all just really odd to me. I've never liked pepper... like ever. I like BELL peppers and banana peppers and seasoned pepper is alright, but just straight up black pepper I've always hated. It makes me sneeze and it just tastes nasty to me. My mom and I were out all afternoon and evening on Wednesday and we went out to eat at an Italian grill where we both ordered the same salad which sounded really really good from the menu. While waiting for the salads we ate the bread that they put out for us which had seasoned olive oil to dip it in. After getting our salads and eating we left the restaurant and about an hour later we got back home. We unpacked all the stuff from the car that we'd gotten and I stayed up waaaaay too late but got to sleep in the early hours of the morning, I think it was around 1am or so. Around 3:30 I woke up and my lungs were absolutely BURNING! I mean, it felt like I couldn't breathe, even though I could breathe just fine, it was just it hurt, especially when I was lying down. I got out of bed and went out to the living room. Dad was still awake so I told him what was going on and that drinking water wasn't helping at all. Dad got me to sit down on the couch and he went to get Mom. After over an hour of looking things up online, trying to figure out what I'd eaten and taking some different medicines that Mom gave me, I finally felt ALOT better and went back to bed where I fell asleep rather quickly and slept quite well(all things considered) until like 1pm yesterday afternoon. After I got up, Mom told me that it was black pepper. She said that there was pepper in the seasonings in the olive oil and that they used the same seasonings on the chicken that was on the salad and I'd just gotten quite the dose of the stuff. So, yeah, I'm allergic to black pepper. Kinda strange, but I'm okay with it because, as I said before, I hate the stuff. I'll just have to be careful what I eat now, which will be a new one for me. But such is life.

| This guy at my school asked me out once and I politely refused. I didn't even know his name! and he certainly didn't know mine! He's a nice guy sure, and I know him a little better now, but he's no more than a friend.
Besides I already have a boyfriend, so... yeah.
I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too! | | |
| Every girl/woman loves flowers. Period. It doesn't matter when she gets them, why she gets them, or what they are. Sure, some girls like certain flowers over others, but that doesn't mean that they won't like it if/when they get something other than their favourite(s). It also doesn't really matter much who gives the flowers. Okay, it does to some people, but most times it really doesn't. Girls can give their best girl friends flowers and it's not weird. In fact, we love it. :) Now, if some random stranger handed me a bouquet of flowers, I'd have something to say to him/her and I probably wouldn't accept them, depending on the situation. Also if some guy who I knew liked me gave me flowers and I really didn't like him, at least not more than a friend... I probably wouldn't accept them, either, since I wouldn't want to lead him on like that. On the other hand, though, if my brothers, or even most of my guy friends, who are really awesome friends, gave me flowers for my birthday, or just because, I'd love it. As long as they weren't weird about it. ;) When a girl gets flowers, especially from someone she loves, be they male or female, it automatically brightens her day and makes her smile. It's guaranteed to work 110% of the time. And it doesn't even need to be anything extravagant, either, just a simple little $4 bouquet is just fine (though usually if you can afford more than that, it would be better appreciated ;P). Oh and another things that (most) girls love.... is chocolate, but I won't get into that one. At least not yet. :P | | |
